Vice President & Controller
Edison International
Mark Clarke is vice president and Controller of Edison International. He is responsible for corporate financial accounting and reporting, SEC compliance, internal control, capital asset accounting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial information systems.
Prior to his current role, Clarke was vice president and controller for Edison Mission Group where he was responsible for supervising the corporate accounting function, including accounting for centralized programs and inter-company transactions. He was also responsible for maintaining an effective accounting system, supervising SEC reporting compliance functions and overseeing the annual operating plan and monthly performance reporting. Clarke joined EMG as assistant controller in 1999.
Prior to joining EMG, Clarke worked at Entergy Corporation. He was also at The Cerplex Group where he served as vice president and corporate controller. Clarke also held several executive positions at Holmes & Narver and at Hadson Power Systems.
Clarke received his bachelor of arts degree from Cal-State University, Fullerton and is a certified public accountant.
