Daryl David is senior vice president of Human Resources for Edison International (EIX), parent company to Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest electric utilities and Edison Mission Group, an independent power generator.
David is responsible for the vital function of ensuring that the company’s human resources support business goals, objectives and strategies.
Prior to working for Edison International, David held several senior-level Human Resource and trusted business advisor roles at world-class, global organizations including Weyerhaeuser Company, General Mills, AlliedSignal, Amazon.com and Washington Mutual.
David’s portfolio includes union and non-unionized environments. He possesses a solid knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, and coordination of people and resources.
David has also garnered experience from working across multiple industries including financial services, e-commerce, software technology, manufacturing, aerospace/defense and consumer products sectors.
David holds a BA from Whitworth University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
